- **Location:** approximate GPS coordinates, only for showing nearby messages.
- **Message Content:** the text you share, stored temporarily until expiry.
- **Device Info:** OS type/version for debugging and optimization.

- No real names, phone numbers, or emails.
- No photos, contacts, or stored media.
- No tracking cookies or behavioral ads.

- Voice-to-text happens **locally** on your device.
- mortalpings never uploads, stores, or shares voice data.
- Designed for convenience — especially when **you can’t type (e.g., driving or eating).**

- Messages expire automatically (1 → 24 hours).
- Expired data is deleted from active storage.
- Backend logs (for abuse prevention) are kept ≤ 30 days.
- Offline messages remain only on your device until sent.

- Deliver pings within their TTL and radius.
- Maintain app reliability and moderation.
- Prevent spam or abuse.
